Amadeus’ Air Distribution revenue grows to €2,230.5 million

Yesterday, Amadeus released its third quarter results highlighting double-digit growth in the first nine months of 2024. These figures underscore Amadeus’ strong position within global distribution landscape and are informing its optimistic outlook on driving NDC in the sector.

Commenting specifically on the results, Luis Maroto, President & CEO of Amadeus said:

“Amadeus is accelerating investment and aims to become the undisputed aggregator of NDC volumes for airlines and travel agencies, to lead the airline IT retailing transformation, and to be the IT provider of reference to the hospitality industry.”

Key highlights from the announcement include a 10 per cent increase in Air Distribution revenue with steady booking growth of 3.4 per cent and unitary booking revenue expansion of 6.4 per cent. This growth is punctuated with an impressive list of NDC distribution agreements and partnerships with notable airlines including Delta Air Lines, Virgin Australia, and IndiGo.

Other key stats from the announcement include a 12.9 per cent increase in Hospitality & Other Solutions revenue and 16.2 per cent increase in Air IT Solutions revenue.
