Recently, China’s largest airline, China Southern Airlines, selected Stellar Entertainment as its partner to deliver a cutting-edge in flight entertainment experience for its passengers. The collaboration announcement focused on two key areas.
First, the airline is striving to cater to a diverse global audience and sees including Hollywood productions as a cornerstone of its IFE experience. Highlighting the significance of Hollywood to the airline, a spokesperson from China Southern Airlines said:
“We are excited to collaborate with Stellar Entertainment to bring the best of Hollywood to our passengers. Stellar’s extensive expertise and relationships in the industry will enable us to offer a premium selection of films that cater to the diverse tastes of our global passengers.”
Second, the airline is keen to leverage Stellar’s advanced digital tools to simplify logistics to enhance productivity. The cloud-based innovations, Stellar IFE Portal and the powerful pixL™ platform, provide key data analytics enabling the airline to evaluate its budget in real-time. The same spokesperson explained:
“We also look forward to leveraging Stellar’s innovative digital tools such as their IFE Portal to streamline our content management and assist us with tracking, budgeting and data analytics.”
