TUI Airline is generating new revenue streams inflight with Immfly’s next-generation digital platform. By converting the cabin into a digitally interactive space, the airline is expanding its commercial opportunities while elevating passengers’ inflight experience.

Yesterday, it was announced that the airline will begin integrating onboard digital solutions provider Immfly’s platform into Boeing 737-800 and 737-8s. This will give passengers across 60 aircrafts access to a modular “fully digital in-flight ecosystem” including:

  • Real-time messaging – Enabling passengers to stay connected through WhatsApp during the flight, with Immfly leading the way as a pioneer in delivering this service via Iridium connectivity.

  • Experiences – Browse and book experiences, activities and tickets, instantly through the integration with TUI Musement marketplace.

  • Premium entertainment – Enjoy the latest movies, TV shows, Podcasts, Games, and more for a small fee.

This marks a first-of-its-kind implementation for a German carrier. Speaking on the decision, Jill Nye, Director of Customer, Crew, and In-flight Services at TUI Airline said:

Immfly’s scalable solution is part of TUI Airline’s broader digital evolution which is enhancing efficiency, passenger experience, and unlocking new ancillary revenue.
