Caribbean Airlines launches proactive baggage notifications

Caribbean Airlines will now send passengers email notifications on the status on their baggage.

The investment means passengers receive updates direct to their devices at key moments on their journey, for example when their bag is loaded onto the plane or reaches their destination. Aiming to strengthen communication as well as their relationship with customers, Caribbean Airlines hopes the step will assuage a common passenger anxiety.

Caribbean Airlines Acting Chief Executive Officer (Ag), Nirmala Ramai, said:

This initiative is part of our consistent focus on improving the customer experience. By giving our passengers timely, accurate updates about their baggage, we are addressing one of the most common concerns in air travel and building confidence throughout the journey.

Email notifications are possible thanks to the installation of Luggage Logistics’ Load & Track baggage management system, which has been added across the airports in the Caribbean Airlines’ network. CEO of Luggage Logistics, Adam Dalby added:
