Air France-KLM’s loyalty programme has launched its new app, Flying Blue+. The app aims to deepen customer engagement, becoming a part of passengers day-to-day lives by providing new opportunities for its members to earn and burn Miles.
Making convenience the priority, passengers can now link a payment card to use the app’s pre-integrated shopping and booking links. After making a purchase, the Miles are automatically credited to the member’s account.
The touchpoint also has a specific “Spend My Miles” tab, presenting users with easy access to the affiliated airlines’ websites for services including booking reward tickets, upgrades, and purchasing additional travel options.
As part of the programme’s wider focus on becoming a part of its members’ “daily lives,” users can now earn miles across a wider ranging selection of partners including travel, culture & leisure, fashion, beauty & wellness, food, banking & insurance, and more.
The app also offers a more personalised experience updating offers based on the users’ location, preferences, and shopping habits.
Additional features include:
- Quick access the user’s Flying Blue membership card, Miles and XP balance, and transaction history
- Integrated support to assist members and answer their questions about using the app
- Flying Blue plans to roll out Flying Blue+ to additional markets in the future.

With Flying Blue+, the group is turning its loyalty program into a lifestyle ecosystem, integrating into users’ everyday routines, increasing engagement, and unlocking new revenue streams.
As of this week, the app is available on both iOS and Android for users in the UK and US. However, plans are in place to extend this to further markets in the coming years.
