At World Aviation Festival, Bryan Porter, Chief Revenue Officer, Datalex reflected on the industry’s progress with Offers & Orders and discussed the role of intelligent pricing in the future.

Datalex leverages cutting-edge solutions to revolutionise retail, helping airlines to increase revenue and improve the end-end shopping experience.

Discussing the industry’s progress over the last couple of years, Porter observed that while we are seeing significant progress in offer management with ancillaries, dynamic pricing, and NDC, development on order management has been slower.

Porter also shared his thoughts on how intelligent pricing fits into the future of retail, adding:

“That’s something that we definitely see being one of the ultimate ambitions of a world of 100 per cent Offers & Orders, where we move away from traditional ATPCO based pricing to 100 per cent price determination so that’s something that we already catering for.”
