Air Canada’s new AI-driven operations control system

Air Canada is improving its operational efficiency with a new AI-driven operations control system.

The solution, NetLine/Ops ++ developed by Lufthansa Systems,  is “state-of-the-art” and equips employees with cutting-edge tools to improve airline performance. This will help airline staff to make informed, proactive decisions and maintain control during disruption.

At the same time, it was announced that Lufthansa Systems has migrated Air Canada’s solutions to the Global Aviation Cloud (GAC, providing robust support for future innovation.

Speaking on the announcements, Kevin O’Connor, Senior Vice President of Global Airports and Operations Control at Air Canada said:

By integrating this advanced solution into our operations, we empower our employees with better tools and enhance our ability to make real-time decisions, ultimately benefiting our customers. The recent migrations have laid a strong foundation for our future cooperation, and the joint project team ensured a seamless transition,”
