In celebration of its 18th anniversary, IndiGo released a series announcements that “herald a new era for the airline and its 100 million+ annual customers.” One of the announcements, focused on enhancing customer experience, is the the launch of it’s loyalty programme, IndiGo BluChip. The airline released the following information about the long-awaited loyalty programme which it describes as the “most hassle-free, on-time loyalty program.”

IndiGo customers who become members of the program will be able to accumulate IndiGo BluChips on every IndiGo flight, based on their spend. Members will also enjoy enhanced travel experiences with exclusive benefits, as they effortlessly upgrade to higher loyalty tiers. The program offers the highest rewards per spend on flights and ensures hassle-free redemption on every IndiGo flight up to the last seat available, 365 days of the year. Additionally, earned IndiGo BluChips never expire for active members.

The programme goes live next month, but early bird pre-registration is open as of today. Commenting on the launch of the programme, Neetan Chopra, Chief Digital and Information Officer, IndiGo, said:

This experience focused change comes alongside a refresh of the airline’s website and mobile application as the carrier strives to to provide passengers with a “seamless and user-friendly interface.” Discussing the airline’s mission on its 18th anniversary, Pieter Elbers, Chief Executive Officer, IndiGo said:
