Sustainability Achievement Award

Given to Bangalore International Airport for their comprehensive sustainability programme, including reducing Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 95% and become a water-positive airport.

Best Use of AI

Given to Abu Dhabi Airports for their AI airport management system. Accepted in absentia as the delegation were sadly unable to attend the event due to the conflict in the Middle East.

Collaboration of the Year

Given to Air India and Singapore Airlines.

Industry Game-Changer

Given to Singapore Airlines, awarded in absentia.

Smart Airport Journey Award

Given to Dubai Airports for their innovative biometric document-free corridor. The delegation were also unable to attend due to the conflict in the Middle East.

Digital Innovator of the Year

Given to AirAsia Move for pioneering multi-modal travel and seamless booking through their app.

Battle of the Aviation Apps Asia

Day 2 of Aviation Festival Asia saw two airlines go head-to-head to pitch their app before a panel of expert judges. Turkish Airlines and Scoot were this year’s contenders, both selected for their seamless UX design and travel features that support passengers across their entire journey.

Turkish impressed with high-performance functionalities that made travel simple and accessible for passengers across the airline’s global network. But rivals Scoot could leave with their heads held high, presenting a colourful, characterful app that reflected the airline’s low-cost, high-value identity.
