Following a successful trial, Wizz Air will roll out the ‘Wizz Class’ seating option across their 950 routes.

Announced in October 2025. Wizz Class launched on select flights to and from Budapest, Bucharest, Warsaw, London Luton (LTN), London Gatwick (LGW), and Rome. Passengers benefit from the extra legroom on the plane’s front row, and having the middle seat blocked,. As well as greater comfort, Wizz Class customers receive a free soft drink and snack onboard.

At a press conference last year, Wizz’s Chief Commercial Officer Michael Delehant explained:

While we are very much about density and flying full aircraft. In terms of what we are doing with the extra leg room in the front row, we’ve had a lot of requests from customers that are on business. Like getting on and off the aircraft quickly, with a little bit more space to do work.

Silvia Mosquera, Commercial Officer at Wizz Air, said demand for Wizz Class ‘exceeded expectations’, resulting in the expansion announced this week. She said:

After testing WIZZ Class at six of our bases and receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback, it became clear that passengers – especially business travellers – value the extra comfort and space this service provides.

The announcement comes hot on the heels of another business development for Wizz: last week, the airline unveiled a new platform, Link, for booking self-transfer routes on one ticket.
