At Aviation Festival Asia, Campbell Wilson, CEO & MD, Air India joined Danny Lee, Asia Transport Reporter, Bloomberg News on stage for a sessions titled “Delivering one of the biggest airline turnarounds in the history of aviation, helping to grow the Indian market into the next major global hub.”
Unpacking the “Everest of corporate turnarounds,” Wilson talked through each stage of the five year transformation from triage to customer manifestation and beyond. The interview also touched on the Air India and Vistara merger which gained Singapore’s conditional approval shortly after the event. The fifteen minute discussion wrapped up with an exploration into the growing Indian market – looking at long term predictions and quality vs quantity of traffic.
