We are dedicated to setting new global standards for digital aviation, leveraging the ambitious Saudi technical infrastructure that truly brings this partnership to life.

Their Skywaves systems utilises SES’s Open Orbits network, which combines MEO performance with GEO coverage to provide reliable connectivity. Emirates and Qatar Airways, both notable regional rivals to Riyadh Air, have both signed deals with low-earth orbit (LEO) satellite IFC provider Starlink in the past year.
Since November 2025 Riyadh Air have been conducting invitation-only flights between Riyadh and London Heathrow as part of its Pathway to Perfect programme. Commercial service is expected to begin later this year, with Saudi Arabia’s newest airline hoping to serve over 100 destinations by 2030.
