AIoT: SITA and Envision Digital’s new partnership
SITA and Envision Digital, a Singapore-headquartered global net zero partner and Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) tech leader, signed a new partnership to help airports reduce operational costs and support net zero targets.
AIoT integrates AI tech with IoT infrastructure. This can offer enhanced data analytics and management, improving efficiency and productivity.
Leveraging real-time data IoT flows, airports will get a holistic view of energy usage, emission outputs from aircraft and vehicles, and their carbon footprint. This detailed insight helps airports reach sustainability goals, guiding action which prompts emission reduction. According to the press release, in future the solutions will also allow airports to harness and orchestrate renewable energy sources.
