Singapore Airlines and Vietnam Airlines have signed a codeshare agreement to improve connectivity in Southeast Asia.

Tickets will be available from 10 October 2025 as the two airlines seek to enhance their customer offering and provide greater coverage across the region.

Under the new agreement, Singapore Airlines will codeshare on services operated by Vietnam Airlines between Singapore and Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, while Vietnam Airlines will codeshare on Singapore Airlines flights between Singapore and Danang, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hanoi. In the future, the two national carriers hope to expand their agreement to include more destinations in Southeast Asia

Dai Haoyu, Senior Vice President Marketing Planning, Singapore Airlines, said:

Our codeshare partnership with Vietnam Airlines is an important step in strengthening connectivity between Singapore and Vietnam. By leveraging our respective networks, we can provide customers with more choice, greater flexibility, and seamless transfers across our services between the two countries.
Singapore Airlines flies to over 120 destinations around the world, and is internationally renowned for its superior customer service. Meanwhile, Vietnam Airlines has gained a reputation as one of Southeast Asia’s most punctual, safe, and premium airlines.
With international passenger traffic to Vietnam increasing by 26% in 2024, the codeshare agreement with Singapore Airlines will support the increasing volumes of tourists. Singapore is the fourth-busiest airport by international traffic, and the Vietnam Airlines partnership will cement its status as one of the world’s leading aviation hubs.
