Interview with Sami Jauhiainen, Vice President Asia-Pacific at Neste – SAF in the region
Sami Jauhiainen, Vice President Asia-Pacific at Neste joined for an interview discussing sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) in the APAC region. Neste are the world’s leading producer of SAF, renewable diesel, and renewable feedstock solutions for various polymers and chemicals industry uses.
The conversation explored some of the key challenges that come with SAF, discussing potential solutions including government policies, end user payments, and increased coordination between aviation hubs and governments.
In the interview, Jauhiainen also explained how the company’s Singapore Expansion Project will make Neste Singapore refinery the world’s largest SAF production facility, with a capacity to produce up to 1 million tons of SAF.
