The airline loyalty landscape is changing and, with high ticket prices, passengers are keen to maximise perks.
However, it is not always clear as a loyalty member what you are entitled to and when – especially when flying with different alliance members.
Inspired by the success of SkyTeam’s Carry-on-Calculator, the alliance has introduced a new Loyalty Benefits Calculator to ensure an unfragmented experience for its members.
With a total of 230 million loyalty members across 19 member airlines and 17 different programmes, the tool provides clarity on which perks are available when flying with members airlines. This enhances the passenger experience whilst promoting transparency.
Speaking on the tool, Patrick Roux, CEO, SkyTeam said:

SkyTeam’s new Loyalty Benefits Calculator puts clear information at customers’ fingertips, so they know which benefits they can enjoy and where for a smoother travel experience.”
To use the Loyalty Benefits Calculator, customers simply input their frequent flyer programme, select the relevant tier level, and pick their operating carrier. From here, it will detail which benefits they are (and are not) eligible for. Try it for yourself here!
